S + K: Big Sur Elopement

If there was one word I could use to describe these two, it would be joy. S + K originally planned to elope in Southern California, but they stumbled photos of the dramatic coastal bluffs of Big Sur and fell in love. These two were laughing and smiling from the very beginning of the day, even when the wind forced us to move their ceremony location. I had warned them that some of the paths would be a little more challenging with a full dress, so K came fully prepared with a new use for the Bridal Buddy, an underskirt that could be used to gather up all the layers of her dress so that she could freely hike safely. They ended their elopement day with a picnic and champagne on the beach, reading letters from their loved ones and dancing with their toes in the sand as the sun set over the horizon. When I asked them what their favorite part of their day was, his was watching his beautiful bride run and chase the birds, and her favorite memory was their picnic.
