Robert + Anne: Big Sur Proposal | Big Sur Wedding Photographer

Sometimes things don't turn out as expected...but then they turn out to be for the better. Robert had contacted me months ago to capture his surprise proposal along the beautiful coast of Big Sur. We had it all planned out, and I gave him the GPS coordinates and maps to find the spot where he wanted to ask the love of his life to marry him. The day came, and the rains were starting to fall, but I was wandering on the path, Robert and Anne nowhere to be find. I drove back up the road to get cell service...no answer. So the day came and went, I drove back, and got a phone call from Robert - "We thought we found the spot, but it wasn't, so I just went ahead and proposed. We're engaged!!" along with iPhone photos of them grinning from ear to ear.

The next day, I coincidentally received an inquiry from another romantic, wanting to propose in Big Sur on Saturday. I quickly got back in contact with Robert, and we made it work. With much better weather the second time around, and this time Anne got to pick a beautiful pink dress to wear, I couldn't have imagined a more perfect engagement session. Congratulations R + A!
