Settle in, because you're in for a love story made for a romance novel. N + K met at a bar in San Francisco, but quickly realized that they only had 3 months before K had to move back to his home in Germany. They couldn't help but fall in love and spent the next few years flying back and forth to see each other. On their visits here in California, they would spend time in Carmel, hiking around Garrapata State Park and watching the sunsets over Soberanes Point. On 2/2/2020, he proposed at Point Lobos right on the Carmel coast. Then came the pandemic, which meant they couldn't fly to see each other due to all the travel restrictions. But they knew that they wanted to get married, and spent the next few years filing paperwork and navigating the 90-day fiance visa process. They spent months and months apart - N would even drive down the coast to the same Airbnb they had stayed at, hike up Soberanes Point, and watch the sunset just waiting for the day when they could watch it together. Finally on 2/2/2022 - two years after they got engaged - the day had arrived. They got ready at the same Airbnb (where they had made friends with the hosts over their many stays there) and hiked up to the top of Soberanes Point where they said their vows. The wind blew intensely up at peak of the mountain so much so that I had to tie her veil down to her dress, but they didn't care. This was the day, the moment they had waited for. N + K got to spend the rest of their day in their favorite place in the world, doing the things they loved and sharing the little moments together like eating burritos on the beach. We ended the day where we started at Soberanes Point, the day coming together in full circle. Just as I left, they sat down to watch the last few minutes of the sunset together for the first time as husband and wife. Wow, Lynn is a genius. If you are thinking about working with her, DO IT!! Every aspect of working with her was amazing. I will start off by saying, our elopement day and photos were **perfect** thanks her mastery. She knows the Big Sur coastline so well, and was able to tailor the day exactly to our needs. Her expertise of the area really shows in her amazing photography. As a small bonus, I have spent a lot of time in Big Sur, as it is dear to my heart, and yet she still she showed us new exciting spots and angles on our favorite trails. Seriously, amazing. Her talent is out of this world. Plus, she is SO nice. We genuinely loved getting to know Lynn, and Keith! Lynn introduced us to Keith, who officiated our wedding perfectly and is also wonderful. Amazing duo. Thank you for giving us the elopement experience and photos of our dreams! They are seriously, THE BEST. I couldn't think of anyone better to work with! Planning to elope in Big Sur?
