I don't know about you, but when I think of hiring a florist, I don't think to rent the entire florist shop. Can I just say, these two are absolutely brilliant for thinking of this? I mean, you've got beautiful blooms and greenery lining the wall, string lights wrapped around a tree branch hanging from the ceiling, and vibrant turquoise barn walls as the signature marker of Ampersand SF's shop tucked away in the Mission District. This wedding couldn't be more unique and memorable for this sweet, intimate celebration with just 17 of their closest family and friends. From the moment you entered the room, you could feel the love from both families as they chatted it up before the ceremony. And little did they know that M + P were going to announce that they were not only joining together in marriage, but also adding to their family with a baby boy on their way! The tears and hugs and laughs and memories - that's what it was all about. I didn't want to butcher their love story because they told it so well, so here is their take - "After roaming about the same neighborhoods of San Francisco for 15 years, it took the good graces of the Swipe Gods for our paths to finally meet. He likes referencial nerd humor and cheesy horror. I like bright lipstick and finding yummy hole-in-the-wall eats. Together, we are a quirky and creative couple that tries to see the beauty and eccentricities of everything we come across. We enjoy finding little treasures in flea and farmers markets, laying down in the grass for naps on a warm day at Golden Gate Park, and curling up in bed with some tea while immersing ourselves into vintage fiction. A year and a half later, and we’ve completely, passionately, and undeniably fallen head over heels in love. We’re making it official with saying our own vows at a small elopement in front of our closest family members. An intimate, simple, stress-free celebration filled with gratitude, good times and good food." What a wonderful way to reflect their own love story with an eclectic, flower shop wedding!
