About a month ago, I saw Olivia Markle post that she was going to be in town to shoot, and I immediately had to message her and hang out with her while she was here! With this amazingly talented Utah photographer, along with another wonderful NorCal photographer Kayla Esparza, we ventured out to Point Reyes, not knowing what an adventure we had in store for us.
Two hours past our meeting time, we finally found each other but with no models in sight - the couple had lost service down in Drakes Beach, Wandering around the parking lot, we were all a little hopeless in our search - we had no one way to contact them. As we were wandering, Olivia spotted the most adorable couple hiking up the hill. "Should we just ask them if they would like some photos?" A few looks at each other, and we were all running up chasing after them. With our cameras in hand and a few introductions later, we found ourselves shooting Marcie and Shawn, who were so in love, married for three years, and had never had their photos taken. And what an amazing couple they were - so naturally moving with each other, like there was no one else around. We adventured with them down to the beach, where they wholeheartedly jumped into the water for some breathtaking shots, and ended the day with them cuddled in their rad campervan. Oh what an adventure!
