M + A: Tropical Greenhouse SF Conservatory of Flowers Wedding | San Francisco Wedding Photographer8/31/2019 How did a Chinese-Jewish girl move halfway across the world to Germany, you may ask? Through the romantic world of dating apps, Mica and Alex found themselves talking for hours on their first date. When he moved back to his home in Germany, they did long distance and realized that this was it - this was the love of a lifetime. So she packed her bags, learned German, and started a new life in a new country. Fast forward a few years, M + A settled in Stuttgart, Germany and got married in a small civil ceremony! A year later, they decided to bring their worlds together in an evening full of laughter, bad dancing (her words, not mine), and great memories to celebrate their anniversary in her hometown of San Francisco. From the moment that they stepped into the room, you could see the joyful, boisterous spirit that Mica brought with her as she rocked her convertible jumpsuit and the quiet, steadfast love that Alex brought with him as he looked at the woman he married. It was truly a celebration that reflected the incredible love they had, from the reunions of friends who had not seen them since their move, to the gift of a dinosaur balloon because she loved dinosaurs, to the Jewish hora that kicked off the night of dancing.
