How many people can say that they built their wedding venue? This friend's home was a place of childhood memories for Al, and together with their family and friends, they landscaped the entire area, built the pathway and ceremony site up a hill, and transformed a tennis court into the most romantic reception. To think that the very place they were standing was literally just forest trees months before. It was truly a work of blood, sweat and tears - escaping wasp nests and even sustaining a few injuries - but absolutely amazing to see their vision all come together. The day was full of so many memorable moments, from the groom giving personalized baseball bats to his groomsmen to a groomsmen giving the best speech (complete with a slideshow of blackmail-worthy photos and Calvin and Hobbes comics) to the overwhelming love from their friends and family who couldn't stop giving impromptu toasts that lasted well into the night. Congratulations Julia and Al!
