After DIYing my own wedding bouquet, I've dabbled in a bit of floral arranging for clients here and there. This bouquet has a few extra florals added in for a modern twist to the classic rose bouquet, perfect for a vintage wedding! Learn how to create this burgundy and blush bridal bouquet below.

MATERIALS:
  • Blush Nena Roses
  • Burgundy Tess Garden Roses
  • Blush and Burgundy Spray Roses
  • Burgundy Ranunculus
  • Wax Flowers
  • Seeded Eucalyptus
  • Floral Tape
  • Ribbon
  • Floral Snips or Sharp Scissors

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Trim excess leaves off of the flower stems. De-thorn the roses by pushing the thorn against the stem.
  2. Start the arrangement with the Tess Garden Rose. Then add in the other flowers, balancing the larger roses with the smaller spray roses and filler wax flowers, and the burgundy florals with the blush ones. Add in the eucalyptus when you have a good size flower bouquet.
  3. While holding the bouquet, look at it with different angles. See which side will be likely the "front" and pull center flowers higher to create a more rounded shape.
  4. Once the bouquet looks the way you want it, wrap it with floral tape. Wrap it tightly to make sure the arrangement stays in position. Then wrap the ribbon around the floral tape twice, then tie a double knot.
  5. Trim all the stems to the same length with a diagonal cut.
  6. Keep the bouquet in a vase of water in the refrigerator until use. To keep it fresh, move all fruits away from the bouquet and mix cut flower food with the water.

Happy DIY arranging!

P.S. Need bridesmaids' bouquets as well? Use the leftover florals to create matching bouquets.
