The Dolomites had always been at the top of our bucket list - we had seen countless photos from fellow elopement photographers of the epic mountain views and famous Lago di Braies with its crystal clear blue waters. When travel started re-opening, we planned a summer trip to Iceland, but were unable to go to our second destination (Norway) because it was closed to tourists. So I hopped onto the Google Flights Explore page to see where we could fly to from Reykjavik. (Pro travel tip: Just put in your starting location and you'll be able to find out where you can fly to and even put filters like budget or non-stop only!) Just 16 days before we were leaving for Iceland, we decided to book a flight to Milan and rushed to plan the second half of our trip in just a few weeks. Luckily I had already mapped out most of the spots I wanted to go to on a Google Map, but it definitely wasn't without a few hiccups along the way. Check out our 5-day campervan itinerary in the Dolomites!

Iceland, the land of fire and ice. For years, we were skeptical about Iceland because of how popular it had gotten. Could it really be that magical with hundreds of tourists crowding to get that one Instagram shot? Anyone and everyone seemed to be going to Iceland, not just the avid adventure seekers. But maybe because we had gone just at the right time (COVID restrictions had just lifted), on top of going to all the famous sights at 4 AM when the midnight sun rose - it ended up being one of our favorite trips. Check out our itinerary for 1 week in Iceland!
Peru! The Incan Empire, a land of mixing cultures and of tradition that is fighting to stay alive. Come with us on this 10 day adventure across Peru! If you are like us, and hail from a country with easy access to the coast, you are going to want to take it easy the first few days. You will be, as we have come to realize, an airsick lowlander. Cusco, Peru is nearly 4000 meters above sea level, and many of the hikes can easily cross into the 5000 meter range! In short, you need time to acclimatize to the new dizzying heights you find yourself in. After a few days of city fun, as well as some coca tea, your body will adjust and you will be ready to tackle Machu Picchu!
Seattle, one of the pillars of the Pacific Northwest, the home of hipsters, grey skies, and the dreaded Starbucks. Seattle holds a special place in our hearts, as it was the first trip that we took together as a couple! As young college students who didn’t have a lot of money, it was a fun but quick weekend trip. This time around, we decided to spend a little more money, rent a car, and go explore the Olympic Peninsula for a few days! There is so much to do in Washington outside of Seattle, so come take a journey with us!
Greece and Turkey Travel Guide: 10 Days in Athens, Santorini, Milos, Cappadocia, & Pamukkale4/4/2019 Greece, an ancient land of Gods and Men with a rich history that dates back millennia. Oh, and they have nice beaches too. For the amateur historian and religious scholar like myself, Greece, and in particular Athens, holds so many important landmarks and stories regarding the foundations of the Christian faith, as well as the mythology of the Greek gods on Mount Olympus.
Of course, Lynn was not as amused as I and we spent most of the trip island hopping like the fabled Odysseus, seeking out our own adventure. Spring is a great time to visit both Greece and Turkey like we did on this trip, the weather is decent, but you get half the crowds! With that, let’s jump in to our 10 day itinerary of Greece/Turkey! Italy, the land of good food, good wine, and famous works of art. While this trip was a departure from our usual campervan adventures, Italy did not disappoint with its incredible views, beautiful cities, and breathtaking architecture.
Ok we admit, it was Game of Thrones that drew us to travel to Spain. The moment we found out that Dragonstone was a real place, it was immediately on our bucketlist and we took advantage of the holiday to travel to this beautiful country, from the big city of Barcelona to the dramatic coastline of Andalusia to the epic landscape of the Basque countryside. 5 days, 7 cities, 7 flights later...

I believe that all tourist traps had humble beginnings. In order for things to become famous, they must have started by just being popular, right? Well there is a good reason why the SF Pier has become such a large tourist attraction. Delicious seafood, beautiful sights, and a large variety of shopping makes for a great day out!
Australia is vast and wild, save for pockets of civilization on the coasts. With everything being spread out, a campervan is the best way to view this beautiful country! We also spent a few days just exploring the larger cities and spending time with new friends too, so make sure you don't miss out on what this wild country has to offer. Check out our 9 day trip itinerary - starting with Sydney followed by a 6 day road trip from Cairns to Brisbane - with suggestions on places to go, cheap eats, hidden gems, and unforgettable bucket list experiences!

Santa Cruz is the sleepy coastal cousin of the Bay Area, and is a popular escape from the busy city life. While many enjoy the wide variety of beaches in Santa Cruz, the city offers a plethora of relaxing, non-water related activities (and a few water-based ones too). So let's explore this scenic meeting place of the forest and the sea!
