When A + E started thinking about their wedding day, they knew they wanted it to just be the two of them. A day spent surrounded by the trees, starting with drinking coffee in the morning and ending with dancing under the stars. They chose to include a hand fasting ritual as part of their ceremony, a meaningful way for them to join as one. As I documented these two just spending time together, I could tell that they just held an immense love for each other - a feeling of such peace and contentment knowing that they had found a partner that loved them for who they were, quirks and all. We even got to watch the most incredible sunset as they danced to their favorite songs and saw the stars come out at night. Check out the rest of the elopement below!
"Lynn was amazing to work with from start to finish!
She provided recommendations from places to stay to specific vendors for anything we may have wanted, which was sooo helpful especially since we are from out of state and don't know the area very well. We selected the locations we wanted and she knew exactly where to go to capture us within the beautiful scenery of Big Sur. She was also incredibly quick to respond and kept us updated on an unexpected park closure for a location we chose and even provided alternative options so we could still have the experience of going through the redwoods! She directed us as much as we wanted but knew exactly when to let us be ourselves and caught the moments of joy and pure happiness between us. We got sneak peeks the day after and got the rest in less than month after the date! We had her husband, Keith, officiate and his ceremony was beautiful. We didn't want anything overly traditional and he really nailed it! He really incorporated the spirituality and resilience of the redwoods and beauty surrounding us to keep us in the moment, which is exactly why we chose to elope in the redwoods. We are eternally grateful for both Lynn and Keith, for their part in making our day absolutely perfect and everything we could have hoped for!" - A+E
