​The moment you met Isabel or Evan, you knew that you didn't just make a new amazing best friend, you just joined an incredible group of friends who could only be described as family. Whether from childhood, their college days at UC Santa Cruz, or adulthood, these two had a way of bringing people together on their beautiful journey. They were both in tears as they vowed to be by each other's side in the most poetic way, planted a tree together to symbolize their union, and laughed all night to all the incredible toasts that only brought more tears of joy. Plus, you can't go wrong ending the night with churros, donuts, and all the dance moves. Congratulations E + I!

L + A got married at the beautiful industrial venue of The Old Sugar Mill in Sacramento, California. This venue was the perfect backdrop to their wedding, from their first look in the brick building lit by sunlight streaming through the windows, to celebrating with their friends and family under the string lights of the reception room. Before the ceremony, they took some time alone to read letters to each other. Little did she know, he had a jar full of notes he had written for her - one for each day as they got closer and closer to their wedding day. She had always joked about him not texting her during the day, but instead he had spent that time writing down all the little things he loved about her, folding each note into an origami heart. To think they almost skipped reading their letters in the rush of the day - this moment became one of their favorites (and one of mine!) Congratulations L + A!

​What more can I say than what a dream these two were. Having photographed 3 other weddings at this gorgeous venue, I couldn't be more excited to be back - especially when my very first bride made the macrame bouquet holders for these two! J + C said their vows to each other nestled in the Santa Cruz redwoods at Slowcoast Laughing Canyon and danced the night away under the twinkle lights. Their wedding was absolutely dreamy, with intricate macrame creations, greenery tablescapes, and rust orange details. The bridesmaids danced in their velvet orange dresses and the groomsmen toasted with their ox horn mugs.  But all these details only added to the beauty of their love that shined through the little ways, like how she gave him moon cufflinks knowing he would forget his cufflinks, how he was just awestruck when he saw her down the aisle, and how he would just spin her around during the first dance with so much joy that they were now husband + wife. What a night to remember!

​What an incredible, beautiful wedding we got to the honor to capture at Nella Terra Cellars in Sunol, California. For T + W, they didn't take so much care and effort into the details so they could have a dream wedding. They did it because they wanted to host the best dang party for their friends and family. They wanted to go all out so they people closest to them would remember their wedding with joy, a beautiful reflection of how much love had been poured out to both of them from the support of their church through her move from Taiwan to America, to her mother's deep devotion for her daughter in a new country, to the many pastors who blessed them at their wedding ceremony. Tiffany and Winston, here's to you. We couldn't be more thankful to have gotten to know your love story and to capture such a special day for more than just clients, but now friends sharing homemade meals and travel adventures. Surrounded by the redwoods, E + Y said their vows to each other at Valley Presbyterian Church in Portola Valley, California. This stunning A-frame church with floor-to-ceiling windows served as the perfect backdrop to their wedding ceremony. I mean, would you look at that view?! After their ceremony, the bride changed into her reception dress (for a little more ease of dancing!) and they celebrated their wedding reception with their friends and family at the elegant Garden Court Hotel in Palo Alto. Congratulations E + Y!

​C + J met as tour guides at UC Irvine and knew that this was something special even as life pulled them apart after college from the Bay Area to Washington DC, to even across continents to Peru and then to San Diego. They finally found their way back to the Bay Area, where they hosted a brunch wedding at the beautiful historic Ainsley House. The 1900's house was the absolutely perfect backdrop for these two lovers as she walked down the stairs awaiting the first look and they danced in the living room with grins so big you swear their faces were starting to feel sore. They had handpicked individual mugs for each and every guest and everyone left full with brunch food and waffles. I couldn't say enough wonderful things about these two, whose hearts are so full of love for each other, their loved ones, and for the people around them. Congratulations C + J!!

K + L got married in the magical fairytale redwoods of Nestldown in Los Gatos, California. As their love song echoed in the trees during their first look, they both teared up at the joy and excitement that this day was finally here. It was truly a beautiful wedding that reflected their culture, bringing together family and friends from across the world for long awaited reunions. Congratulations K + L!

​If there was one way I could describe these two, it would be sacrificial love. A pastor and a nurse, Charlston and Swon went on their very first date not to dinner or a movie, but to serve the homeless. From the very beginning, their hearts for others shined above all else. It was the kind of love that meant coming over and caring for his mother every week, seeing someone on the street and giving them their warmest coat, and even bringing in stray animals that needed care. Their wedding day reflected exactly that - a day full of so, so many tears and so much joy as they excitedly tied the knot with their family, friends, and church. Congratulations S + C!

Pumpkins, fall candles, and pampas grass - what could be more representative of this coastal getaway in Half Moon Bay? J + M crafted the most perfect fall wedding in Half Moon Bay, a city known for its annual pumpkin festival. They chose to make their ceremony their own, from sharing their first sip from a bottle, to toasting with all 18 of their wedding party as they shared their first kiss. You could just tell the beautiful spirit that the bride brought to the day as she danced with her husband with so much joy in between takes. Congratulations J + M!
