Ever wondered what an 8-hour elopement looks like? Instead of having a traditional wedding at a venue, R + C choose to have otters and birds witness their wedding day. It was such an intentional and meaningful day in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, starting with a tea ceremony and getting ready with their 2 brothers and 2 sisters. After a sweet first look, these two shared a few private moments making coffee together, a favorite morning tradition of theirs. Their families joined them on the cliffs of Big Sur for an intimate ceremony on the coast, followed by picnicking on the beach with their two pups. And though we had a mostly cloudy day, the sun even peeked out in the last minutes of sunset as the perfect way to end the day. Check out the rest of R + C's intimate California coastal wedding below! Lynn not only takes amazing photos, but she helped us along the way to make sure we were on track with wedding preparations and answered all of our questions and gave advice. She was extremely responsive over email and gave us a call when further explanation would be easier for all of us. It obvious from all of the amazing photos how great Lynn does capturing the special day. We immediately wanted to book her after going through her website and photos. But it was the initial conversation with her that put us at ease and solidified that decision as we didn't realize how much more work was to be done to prep for the wedding and she knew exactly what else we would need to be doing as we got closer to our day. On the actual day, Lynn was so friendly and professional and worked great corralling our large family and ensured we had the opportunity to get the photos we were hoping for. We are so grateful for her capturing everything for our wedding day and love going through our pictures!" - R + C Love the idea of having a nontraditional wedding by the coast?
